I got accepted into grad school today!!!!

:party: It was really more of a formality because I was about 99.9% certain that I was getting in, but there is just something so nice to actually see it down on paper. It's good to know with certainty how I'm going to spend the next year or so of my life...after that...is another story entirely...

1. congrats mate, what for?

I decided not to do so myself because I really wouldnt use the degree. Since I live down the street from university I will take a few classes just to stay sharp, but I dont see the need in another degree.

3. I'll be getting my M.Ed in Health Education...

it's kind of a cupcake degree but in my field just about everybody has a masters in something or other. Plus the grad assistantship I'm getting will be great work experience

7. that's cool, you can use your degree

most people in my line of work dont have higher degrees.
I'm a PI, but I have experience in personnel background and suitability with a little psych profiling. I have a BS in Criminal Justice with emphasis in behavioral sciences, and half a dozen post grad level classes.
Now I study people, so the socio/anthro/behavioral aspect keeps me sharp.
