Have you ever taken Gaviscon tablets?

Is it my imagination or do they expand when you chew them? It feels like I'm trying to swallow spackle.

1. They may expand a bit

I've tried them but prefer the liquid

the original is better than the extra strength too! but i can only now find the extra strength in stores :grr:

the original actually had a bit of a numbing feeling that helped my esophagus (which has been known to get irritated enough to swell and cause difficulty swallowing, thank the gawdesses for the proton pump inhibitors that have helped me from having to have my esophagus dilated for about 4 years now! :woohoo: )

2. FYI, Drugstore.com carries it and a lot of other difficult-to find products

They can be a bit more pricey but with stuff that's really hard to track down it's easier to just order from them.

3. Chalk + Poprocks

I know what you're talking about. it's weird, but the stuff does help.

BTW, if you have a Rite Aid nearby, they have an off-brand version that's quite a bit cheaper than the name brand stuff.
