Okay... so this morning I've been on a roll...

1) I had to make a report to a state agency as a mandated reporter and was asked a brazillion questions, namely questioning my reporting of this :grr: so i e-mailed the supervisor of that agency to tell them about this person and gave them the what for!

2) I got a notice in my e-mail that my employer, one who receives a significant amount of federal dollars, in honor of National Nurses Week was letting the Gideons hand out bibles :wtf: ?

So I sent an e-mail up the chain of command saying in effect, gee, I hope that no one takes offense to an organization that receives federal dollars sponsoring an event where they are handing out bibles! I hope there are no Muslim nurses or physicians who would take offense to that! (never mind any atheists, agnostics, or pagan types!)

So I'm taking some deep breaths because life is too short to get worked up about such things to the point of foaming at the mouth! (hand me a napkin please :P )

7. update:

got a reply from the state agency supervisor saying "yes" she agreed that the person had been wrong and that they were planning some "education" for their frontline staff that takes the reports.

:shrug: it's as good as I will expect.

haven't heard about the bibles, but they weren't giving them away as the bulletin said, so who knows ? :shrug:
