8. Funny Mickey Rooney true story.

OK, not about the 'real' Mickey Rooney, but my co-pilot.

I had a good buddy and co-pilot who looked a lot like the aged Mickey Rooney. Short, ruddy complexion, bald, with a fringe of gray hair.

When we walked into a karaoke bar in Tokyo one night the patrons started buzzing. I heard "Mickey Rooney...Mickey Rooney".

After we got our beers, a guy came up and said "Mickey Rooney!"
I looked at Curt, and he looked at me, and we both said "What the hell. Why Not?"

"Yeah, Mickey Rooney."

"Sing song?'
"sure."

I don't remember what Curt sang. He wasn't very good, whatever it was.
