3. What is the meaning of is?
I mean, is it is as in "is now" or is as in "was" or what? I think is can be used in different ways and before I answered a question under oath I would want to be clear how "is" was being used, as in is it now true that it is, or was it true before that it was/is?

or is, just is, and that's all there is to is?
