1. Your place?
Seems that would make sense.

It's our first stop on a four week European Extravaganza Vacation! The HILTON PARIS -- Arc de Triomphe!

I've posted pictures of NYC from last year's street shoot of "Spider-Man 3"... maybe that's what you saw.

Tonight, we are in Portland, Oregon, where we live. Where are you?

In peace,

Radio Lady

8. Uh...I'm in Seattle ....but I used to live in Portland!
There are too many DU'ers traveling now and I can't keep them straight!

I read your post about Larry King and I had to laugh when I read the "Russian hands, Roman fingers" line...I haven't heard that in years! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Have a good time on your trip... :hi:

9. NewYawker99 keeps a little book with birthdays in it... I'm going to try and develop a small
document which lists individual names and some other details about DUers themselves -- where they live, etc.

I mean, this is a little like having anonymous sex -- well, not exactly, just in some ways.

We meet, we talk, we part. Then if we meet again, maybe I'll remember some details except a screen name.

Yes, Larry became a pivotal point in my life and it happened because he was friendly and helpful and kind of kooky. He definitely had talent, and that we evident even in his WAHR days. Now, I can say, "I knew him when, but it always gets much more of a bounce when I say that I dated him, but didn't marry him."

Last night, someone said, "And it's a good thing you didn't...!" Naw, that's not how I feel at all. The only thing we had in common was age and career track. I don't like sports (he does), I didn't want to be married to a smoker (he finally quit), and he was quite a high-maintenance man -- I say that in the kindest way. I'm glad he got straightened out financially and he married someone who puts up with him (isn't that the best way?) and had two gorgeous boys, whom he adores.

We got it right, both of us.
