he's not even from Earth.

It took five or six billion years to evolve those diseases; they are tailored specifically for Terran DNA, and thus it would be statistically impossible for Superman to catch an Earth-originated disease.

And yes: I might just be the king of the nerds, since this isn't the first time I've had to answer this question. :)
