Shirley E. Zeegers, 79
AUBURN -- Shirley Elizabeth Zeegers, 79, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Oxford, died Sunday evening between the third and fourth consecutive home runs of the night by her beloved Red Sox. Some suspect she may have had an influence in the fourth home run.
Shirley was born in Hackensack, N.J. on Nov. 24, 1927, the only daughter among four boys of Elizabeth (Devlin) and Jacob Thornton French. She was a graduate on Ramsey (N.J.) High School and was an active alumnus helping to organize many class reunions.
