Sounds from I-10 and trains.
The train sounds are the loudest.

The train crew is breaking up a train.

The sound of train cars bumping is really loud.

I am sure the townhouse people are not getting any sleep tonight.

2. Yes, but you can hear in inside also.
We are used to the sounds but new townhouse people get all upset.

The train yard has been here for for a long time.

You would think that someone buying a house next to a railyard would realize that there will be train sounds.

Not our townhouse folks.

4. I love the sounds from the train yard.
The train yard used to be the old MKT yard now it is Union Pacific.

The train traffic will be picking up the next few months, Union Pacific is moving more trains here.

Meanwhile people are buying $300,000 townhouses next railroad tracks with loud trains.

6. No, it not Settegast.
This old trainyard once had 20 tracks, now that was a lot of noise.

Now we have only 10 tracks, but this old train has history.

The trainyard has great open spaces to go walking with your dog and let the dog or dogs run free.

I took the dogs today.

7. gravity yard on the east side of downtown
or somewhere near the heights?

the "katy" is gone on the west side, so it has to be somewhere along the existing alignment, which i think is somewhere around navigation, nearer to downtown, or around the heights.
