Well, it's been a helluva week....

:yoiks: I'm damn glad it's over. Besides the regular bullshit, I got a call yesterday from the office of the state auditor telling me that they'd be in our office in June to do a program review. :( This is more than just a regular school audit, but at least it's just the state one. On top of everything else, this is just peachy. :sarcasm:

One bright spot is that one of the women I worked with in my previous job made a total ass of herself at the state conference earlier this week. I was unable to attend because I needed to focus my energy on the tasks still left to be done, but a good friend of mine who went told me about it. Seems Former Coworker made a drunken fool of herself at the banquet Tuesday night. She put on her miniest minidress and got roaringly drunk prior to attending a banquet where nobody ever shows up drunk. :yoiks: She got up and started dancing and singing with the entertainment for the banquet----they were supposed to be there for background music, and she changed all that. I told my friend that I was so incredibly glad NOT to be working there any more for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was this one. I also found out that Former Coworker was rude and obnoxious at the conference when she was sober too. Apparently her behavior has been the topic of many, many conversations. It's kinda hard to avoid that when you do stupid stuff in front of 450 people. :yoiks:
