8. Yep - one of the most boring evenings of my life

hated almost every second of it. But, it was my best friend's bachelor party, so I went.

Mayhaps if the women there weren't all smalltown talentless dancers it would have been more interesting, but a) the obviously sexual nature of it was very off-putting and not erotic at all, and b) I was so overcome by aesthetic nausea at the lack of artistry in any of the movements of the women that I didn't very often notice that they were naked - the "dancing" was so ugly that's about all I saw. It was quite appalling. And the strippers we used to have come to my fraternity were always a turn off, too.

My cab driver roommate in Las Vegas a decade ago would blow his fares nightly at Crazy Horse II or Olympic Gardens, a couple of the biggies here. I masochistically tagged along several times, never spending a dollar beyond the drink minimum. Incredibly tedious, even if the Olympic Gardens had extremely good looking women. I turned down every lap dance offer and couldn't wait to leave.

The only intriguing visit was my first, in San Francisco during my junior year in college at USC. We hit a place where the featured stripper was Carol Doda. For some reason I rememeber that name and can still picture it flashing outside. I was shocked at how dark it was inside, and so many creepy looking guys, but there was one decent comedian who performed between strippers. After we left, the same guy who grabbed us on the way in was pitching us again: "hey guys, want to see some nude girls, want to see some nude girls?" He had absolutely no recollection of talking to us an hour earlier.

There's a considerable level of professionalism up here. Most girls are dancers first and strippers second. There's a professional stripper circuit. You're either good or you don't make the circuit.

There's also rules - no touching, and to go full Monty you have to be in a private club.

I have dated a few dancers, primarily because one of my closest friends managed a big (four stage) joint in Ontario, and always needed a "fourth" four double-dating.

I dated a woman who held the title "Miss Nude Rio Carnival" (all these titles are purchased). I asked her if she'd ever been to Brazil, and she preplied, that, no, she never toured Europe.

She was a keeper. One morning, she needed some makeup, so we drove to a drug-store. She was wearing only a black spandex catsuit, and when she got back in the car, she revealed dozens of stolen items. Where she hid them, I don't even want to know :D.

in order to serve booze, and or/have strippers. Basically, your cover charge isd also your 'membership' (you get a new one each time you visit), and nobody is allowed to attend without being a member.

The Railway Club in Vancouver is an example of that process, although it's not a strip joint. They serve liquor and present live bands, and they have to be a private club to do that (it's some sort of zoning loophole).

The dancers would grab on to the ceiling supports to do a grind. On this night, a dancer pulled about a third of the ceiling down. She was quite embarrased standing there among the wreckage. Still, she was very attractive......

Have two or three clubs we visit. We usually go out to one every couple of months. She is Bi and likes looking at the women, and she actually enjoys me looking at them.
