The TIME 100 — Are They Worthy?
The Most Influential People of the Year
Who do you think should be on this year's list of TIME's most influential people?

Stephen is already kicking MAJOR butt. Make sure Jon gets his propers too.

1. I even down voted some folks...
Stephen probably has this thing wrapped up, but Jon deserves to be at least in the top 5.
And who is this hockey player anyway? Why is he in the top 5?

Do we really want SHIGERU MIYAMOTO, J.K. ROWLING, BONO, and STEVE JOBS to beat Jon?
How cool would it be if Jon and Stephen took the top two spots?

9. Other people that need to be downwardly voted...
Sidney Crosby - a hockey player - Really?!?
Steve Spangler - mixed Diet Coke and Mentos - Who hasn't?
Angelina Jolie - home-wrecker and adoption addict
Brad Pitt - cannot seem to control his "home-wrecker and adoption addict"
Richard Dawkins - Oxford University professor - YAWN!!

Keep voting for Jon and Stephen!!

10. I'm going to debate some of these...
there are people there who need to be deflated...John Roberts jumps to mind.

Sid "The Kid" Crosby is the best hockey prospect in 2 decades...the face of the next generation of his sport. He may put his sport back on the national radar...He may also be better than Gretzky. He's kinda important for those reasons.

Do you even know who Richard Dawkins is? More than just an Oxford professor. A noted ethnologist, skeptic, atheist, author of the seminal texts of the last 30 years of evolutionary theory and biologist...he's more or less ripping ID theory to shreds on the radical-religious-right's own turf faster than the pseudo-scientists can write the shit. The appellation of Darwin's Rottweiler is well-earned. Given the ability to live another 50 years (Sadly, he's nearly 70.) I have little doubt he could probably disprove the existence of "God". Anti-intellectualism...yawn! He's probably the most important person on the Time 100 candidates list that "nobody" has heard of.

I don't disagree on the other three. Jolie needs to calm down before she makes a farce out of herself. Pitt isn't in any way or shape important...he's just "pretty" and any idiot could have discovered that Mentos plus aspartame and CO2 equals a frothy mess...this one just happened to do it first.

11. Read the 'Pro' about bush:
PRO: His campaign to bring democracy to the Middle East has fundamentally changed U.S. foreign policy and influence as well as international perceptions of America. Spearheaded the No Child Left Behind Act to close the achievement gap and provide options to parents with children in low-performing schools.

I don't see anything good in either 'accomplishment'.
