OMG -- I finally saw the first two episodes yesterday.

It is THIS close to being as good as Project Runway!

1. I saw the end of what I think was the second show
I think I need to see an entire show before I 'get it'.

3. i agree
i am addicted the Bravo TV 'reality tv' shows. i love to see people creating something from nothing in a short amount time. i have a lot of respect for the competitors.

4. Top Design was disappointing to me, so I was worried about Shear Genius
But, oh, it's so good! Even Jaclyn Smith surprised me.

7. Thank goodness - although I would have liked to have seen Matt
and Andrea in the final show. Matt still seemed the most consistent throughout.

(Like I know anything about design )

10. I accidentally caught it a few nights ago, and it's actually GOOD!

A reality show, like the chef shows and The Apprentice, that actually involves TALENT and CREATIVITY.

The complete opposite of American Idol.

I'm not into hair styling at all, but found myself compelled to watch three episodes in a row that night because all contestants clearly knew what they were doing, creativity was EXPECTED and REWARDED, and they all clearly cared deeply about their art.

11. i like it, i was on the fence because i really didn't like top design or the second
season of top chef but this show delivers, it'snot Projecr runway but it's still watchable.

12. Are they actually judging by talent or by who's the best drama queen?
Top Design sucked majorly and this last season of Top Chef was pretty crappy too.

13. SO FAR -- it's about talent, like season one of Top Chef
THE biggest drama queen was eliminated the first episode.
