youngsters: how many pairs of jeans do you need?

How many pairs of jeans does a high school student realistically need in the wardrobe?

2. I'm 27

and have close to 30 pair. Haven't counted in a while though. I probably kept close to 15-20 pair through school.

There is never a time where I go to a mall and come out empty-handed. It's OCD I tell ya. :)

3. I'm a college student

and I get by just fine on two pairs. :shrug:

4. I have four pairs.

5. you can't put a number on it, i'm almost 40 and i have 15 pairs and i wear everyone of them.

there are your everyday jeans, weekend jeans, painting or mowing the lawn jeans, going out jeans, the jeans you wear with your high heels, the jeans you wear with flats and the jeans you wear when you're bloated.

I always had a problem with jeans because of shrinking. I would get a pair which fit perfectly and wash it and all of a sudden, they'd be an inch or two short, an inch tight everywhere, etc. I haven't owned a pair for years.

11. thats pretty much all i wear all year round, i detest shorts on me and i'm not

really feeling the capri pants, i'll wear them if it's like 90 out out but mostly jeans. In the summer i wear them with grey tshirts instead of my standard black t's.

I am 25 now and I really only wear 2 or 3 pairs on a regular basis.

I haven't bought or worn jeans since I was 12. (I'm 27 now.)

I'm just a second-hand patterned slacks with an over-sized belt-buckle sort of fellow.

My son doesn't wear jeans at all.

14. My kid has a whole closet full of clothes

but for some reason keeps wearing the same 3 pair of jeans over and over and over...go figure.

15. My oldest daughter has 11 pairs of which she wears 10 regularly..

the eleventh pair is the "emergency pair" for when she slacks off doing her laundry and is out of clean jeans. They have the "old fashioned" high waist, and she hates them. She also has 8 or nine pairs of denim capris that she wears as well. She only does her laundry about once every two weeks...or when she runs out of underwear.

17. I make sure that each of my kids

has three serviceable pairs. That's plenty, IMO. My daughter disagrees, but since she's not footing the bill, she's gonna have to get over it.
