What the hell is up with that?

I like my juice over ice, no matter what the juice is, except orange juice grosses me out if it has ice in it. Even orange juice without pulp.

I'm the same way, and I have no idea why!

It is weird, isn't it?

Oh, well...a happy Saturday to you!

3. I don't want ice in my orange juice either.
But I could see drinking cranberry juice, grape juice, fruit punch, etc. with ice.

Hmmm. Wonder why that is.

4. I think it affects the taste and texture.
I'm not sure how to describe it accurately, but the ice makes the juice taste bitter and sort of slimy.

9. I like ice in my orange juice, unless it's fresh-squeezed
Edited on Sat Apr-21-07 04:20 PM by Flaxbee
and then I'll stand for absolutely nothing else in the glass except for the pure, wonderful juice. If it's Florida Natural or some other juice in a carton (though NOT from concentrate - blech) I like ice.

I just like ice in my drinks, period. Unless, of course, they're meant to be served hot. Except no ice in beer, obviously. Grody. My husband despises ice in anything.

edited for grammar.

11. Maybe orange juice is a little bit thicker...
And when you put ice in, it makes it water down.
Tomato juice is the same way.

Just a thought...

14. I never saw anyone put ice in OJ until I went to college
and the first time I saw someone do it in the cafeteria, I thought it was disgusting. Then I thought "Why not?" and tried it. It was okay. So, now, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I'm surprisingly flexible.

Have you tried it? Not bad, really.

Btw, how's your relative who was injured in Iraq?

15. Because you're fookin' weird?
Tomato juice is the one you don't want with ice.

OJ is fine with ice. And most any fruit juice is good cut half and half with sparkling water, ginger ale or even sprite or equivalent. On the rocks.
