11. Rivera gave this one away. That's two like that for him and it's only April.
Gut check time for Joe T. with Rivera.

12. Only silver lining for Yanks is ARod. 3 for 5, 4 RBI, 2 HR and a double.
That's 12 homers for ARod and April isn't over yet. He figures to get a couple more this weekend at Fenway. Could end up with 16+ before May 1. At this rate he breaks the season HR record before Sept 1.

13. But tonight, I would rather have the win.
And he should save some for October, provided the Yanks make the playoffs which is not guaranteed.

14. When you're hot you're hot. Can't save it. Even the out in the ninth was a line drive.
You have to like the Yankee's chances over the season if ARod continues to shine even if he slows down a little which he pretty much has to. Gotta do something about Rivera though. I am not sure what Joe was thinking bringing him on in the eighth with a 4 run lead anyway.

He should've retired a long time ago. And Rivera isn't what he use to be. The Yanks are old and their pitching is terrible. And yes, A-Rod will slow down. I just hope others can fill in when he does.

18. Actually their starting pitching hasn't been so bad this year. Pettite pitched well enough to win
tonight. He got his team into the eighth up 6-2. That should win it with even an average bullpen. Though maybe not in Fenway.
