My husband gave me a concussion this morning...
Edited on Thu Apr-19-07 12:42 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
Or more specifically, my husband's head gave me a concussion this morning.
We were in the kitchen, I was bent over getting stuff out of the fridge, and he was behind me, apparently. He had touched me, but I didn't know he was still there. He was luckily, looking down at me. So, I flip up, flipping my wet hair up in the process to get it out of my face, and I banged the crown of my head into his forehead. His head is like freaking CONCRETE!! Now I'm home after a half day with a concussion. And all I want to do is sleep, but he keeps telling me not to go to sleep. I'm still experiencing pain and a little dizziness. So, your job, DU is to keep me so entertained, that I don't want to go to sleep!

5. I think I'm ok...
There's only a small dent, and I really don't have a GP. I can't afford an ER visit.

4. You may need to see a doctor. Not being able too stay awake is not good.
I just discussed concussions with a friend who is an EMT/Nurse/Volunteer Firefighter. I have a friend who hit their head in a car accident yesterday and I called tthe EMT friend to get info on signs of a concussion.

Take care.

The kid in the middle. He looks just like my cousin Spencer, who is 13 this year. Holy crap. That is creepy.

20. ARen't you sweet?
I'm all better.
My sister in law, the nurse, gave me the ok to take a nap, and when I woke up all the pain and symptoms of the concussion were gone. It was a GREAT nap.
