Sweet. Office is closing early today.
Something about massive flooding from both the rivers and the ocean covering the roads and trees going down. That, and our power flicking every five minutes. I guess the DBA is getting a little concerns that that might not be good for the databases!

Sweet. Day off!

2. Whereabouts in Maine?
My brother-in-law is a student at Colby, so I'm wondering what effect the weather will have on him, if any.

5. Ah, lovely town.
My wife and I stay in Belgrade for about a week every year, as her parents have a house in Mt. Vernon. We always make sure to hit Portland. Last year, we went to the second day of the Baystock Festival. Good times.

4. DiMillo's may be freed!
I just read that on the Press Herald page. I remember when parts of Commercial Street flooded before and it was a mess -- that was back when there were few businesses that weren't part of the working waterfront.

Holy Cow -are you saying that the Fore is expected to flood near Portland? That NEVER happens. The Presumpscot, yes, but not the Fore.

7. All the wharfs were under water when I came home. Comercial St should be underwater tonight.
Un-freaking real tides. It was tricky getting home, as the ocean was in my way on the usual route.
