the 26 miles on a treadmill? I thought that was pretty cool.

A friend of mine ran it last year. Finished and everything.

and I thought how horrible it would be to run 26 miles on a Treadmill. 26 miles period is tough of course (more than I could've ever done even when I ran) but at least on the road there's variety.

It is torrential here and very windy. Power's out and so is the phone.

Boy, I think they should have postponed the race. It doesn't seem fair to put runners and spectators through this.

31. The whole thing was weird.

I couldn't sleep well last night through the thing. This was like a storm we get with bad hurricanes every 4-5 years in July or August, not in April. Very unusual in my experience and I'd venture to guess it's some climate change patterns if I didn't know any better.

Good thing global warming isn't real. :sarcasm:
