2. I thought it was funny....
not as good as "Talladega Nights," but it may be worthwhile if you're a fan of goofy comedy.

Jon Heder is surprisingly good, BTW.

3. yeah we saw it
its pretty funny. It was funnier than I thought it would be. The scene when they see the Iron Lotus move being performed (its a taped performance from behind the iron curtain of Korea) is hilarious. This is not a spoiler scene, btw, just a part I thought was funny.

Its no Anchor Man but its good. I recommend it.

4. Just saw it yesterday...
I thought it was quite funny! Lots of inside jokes and parodies for skating fans and still funny enough for non-skating fans... The first few minutes of skating in the film is pretty much a total outlandish parody of Johnny Weir's "The Swan" short program last season...

There are also several cameos by real life skaters as well. Sasha Cohen's cameo made me LOL! And yeah, the "Iron Lotus" film segment is hilarious.

I think you'll enjoy it. It doesn't run too long or feel like a 2 hour SNL sit that should have ended within 10 minutes time (like several other SNL alumnus films).

It don't know anything about skating and so I didn't pick up on any of the skating jokes, but still found it hilarious. Will Ferrell plays his typical role, but the character that they created for him this time was particularly good. I've never seen Napoleon Dynamite so I have little to compare Heder's performance to, but I thought that he did a good job.

It wasn't as good as Anchorman by any means, but it was definitely better than Talladega Nights and Will Ferrell's other recent movies.
