but what about the BEAGLES?
I think they're the cutest and the sweetest.
I know they want attention and they can get overwieght when they're old but I want to get one someday.
I just want in on the dog discussion okay :D

16. I have "issues" too
My spouse thinks that I think too much about animals. I won a battle tonight though with my neighbors. They have been keeping a dog outside leashed to a tree for the past 5 nights with food and water nearby. The problem is that it's been very cold and the temp is going down to 20 tonight. Let's just say we guilted them in to taking the puppy inside for the night. Mission accomplished! YAY me!

BTW, I love your user name. It cracks me up!

19. Thanks!
Stuntcat is the nickname for one of our cats, she likes to run and jump a lot.

I'm glad you guilted them into keeping the dog warm for the night, they're just inconsiderate leaving it on the same chain for days, they ought to let it sleep near them!

5. I'm on my second beagle. Can't imagine another dog
Edited on Fri Apr-06-07 09:22 PM by mycritters2
I love her!! She looks VERY much like the one in your pic!! And sweet!! My favorite time of the day is when I sit on the sofa and she sits next to me and kind of leans into me. I have a parishioner who says this is a "dog hug". Feels like it.

And don't you believe what they say about beagles not being smart! She did a whole rally obedience course OFF LEASH with only two faults Monday night. Of course, she knew I had treats in my pocket that she wouldn't get if she screwed up...but she IS a beagle. (And she got those treats!).

Yep, I love me some beagle.

8. "dog hug"
warm beagle love!
I have to wait a while but someday.. I don't want it to be bred or whatever, I want to look around at shelters and stuff like that, as long as it's got that soft face and sweet eyes :loveya:

14. When I was growing up...
we had a "neighborhood" beagle named Spot. He would visit each yard daily (within his self-determined perimeter)...just to say "hi" and wag his tail. He was "all dog"!
