Do you think Bush has any understanding of how unpopular* he really is?
not only here at home but around the world? or do you think he lives in some kind of cocoon where his aides keep that kind of thing from him?

*unpopular=hated/despised/strongly disliked

1. The cocoon thing...
He's not referred to as the 'Bubble-boy' for nothing, y'know.

2. He doesn't care
I'm guessing he realizes that there are some strong feelings against him, but he hardly cares what the peasants & peons think of him.

4. about 2 years ago he was on one his overseas trips and he got the Philippines
i think that was it and he was being protested by 10's of thousand of people and apparently someone didn't block his view and he saw what was going on and he says to a Reuters reporter--"They really don't like me?". The Reuters reporter said he was amazed that Bush was really that far out of the loop.

5. None
Every decision that has been made for him save the one failed supreme court apt he is clueless! Who would tell him he sucks? He doesn't read newspapers or listen to poll numbers etc so how would he know? He has lined the pockets of his daddy's friends mission accomplished with our soldiers blood.
At least the war on the middle class is going well. He is the most successful president ever in consolidation of power and complete disregard for the american public.

6. He'd say, "Who cares what you think?"
Even did it with Baker when Daddy sent Uncle Jim to try and extract him from his Iraq quagmire. As long as he's got his sycophants and lap dogs he's the King!

7. Yes, but I don't think he gives a shit.
He's gotta know that "30%" or whatever it is now, is not good. But truly, that doesn't matter as long as he can steal (or buy) elections anyway. I honestly feel he considers himself above the best interests and judgements of the American people, and especially those far better informed and educated than he is.

And he has never been the one in charge.

8. Let me re-phrase that for you:
Do you think Bush has any understanding?

And the answer is, hell no.

9. I don't think anyone in that bush-brood has any concept of reality.
They all live in a sterile, self-congratulating bubble where none ever have to deal with or even SEE the consequences of their actions. Body bags and beautiful minds, and all that.

10. If he knows, I'm sure he's blamed it on someone else.
Is there a more hated person on the planet? I don't think so. In any event, it must be the Democrat Party's fault, or Jimmy Carter, or someone...anyone but George W. Bush.:nopity:

11. Sure he does.
The bubble insulates him to a degree, but he has to know. He just doesn't care. His agenda was never ours, or anyone else's who isn't a millionaire or a bigot.

12. I think they keep him...
strongly medicated. That way if he knows, he could care less. Honestly, how else could he live with himself or act the way he does.
