20 page draft by this Friday 5 pm
Can I do it? Got most of my sources, thesis, argument and a historiographical narrative in my noggin. I just have to get it in the damned laptop.

I *hate* this part of the semester.

I've got a 25-30 pg draft due 4 PM April 14. I had a meeting on my annotated bibliography for it today and my god that was a refreshingly hollow meeting, good thing I had coffee during it. Oh, and I'm doing history too...

You can do it!

:applause:

5. Thanks for the encouragement
This class has been like pulling teeth. Not my century. But it's a mandatory research intensive class.

2. You can do it.
I wrote 35 pages (15 page paper+ 20 page paper) in less than a week (Sunday night to Saturday night) last month. The twenty pager was written between Thursday evening and Saturday night.

Good luck. I'm in the midst of some hellish work, too, so I feel your pain. They really make you work for you summer break, don't they? :toast:

3. Considering your ability to use the term "historiographical"...
I suspect it won't be a problem. :)

4. "I *hate* this part of the semester."
Yeah, me too-- from the other side of the podium. What this tells me is that we're really doing this the wrong way.

7. If I didn't have a 200+ page book a week to skim...
I'd have more time for these big papers.

But, as my good friend and professor says, "Suck it up. This is grad school."
