44. Good point. Religion is the tool that has been used to control the masses
for centuries and centuries. You need people to be compliant to serve the master? Tell them they'll get their reward in the afterlife. You need people to get maimed or killed to enrich your coffers? Tell them god is on your side. You want to control women and keep them from getting too uppity? Point to the Bible. And on and on it goes.

Not unless it can be patented.

After all, they're in the sick business, not in the health business (cures don't keep 'em comin' back!). Not OUR health, anyway.

14. Of the 7 choices the clear
winner would be war.

I think of all the resources, brain power, and money, that gets thrown away and lost engaging in war, and the never ending preparation for war, and I can't help but think the other 6 could've either been eradicated or reduced drastically in significance.

Religion was mentioned as an alternative. Getting rid of war would almost automatically eliminate religion because our history tells us that we can't seem to have religion without having war as well. Without religion we could still have wars. We do. We have wars for any ol' reason.

We like it. :bounce:

19. On a serious note, I voted for "War"
on the less serious note, I would go for classic rock radio all the way. As much as I love most of the music, the stations themselves are unlistenable. Give me satellite radio any day over the local classic rock station - they're currently playing their entire library from A to Z, give it a break, I have more music than they do on my iPod!

we made the mess and now you can clean it up. :D

I'm kidding! I'm kidding! I'm no sexist bastard!

More seriously, I would like to postulate that the illusion that makes us think we so fucking fantastically in the real world that we could never be wrong is the worst.

34. Of the things listed here, war
Not only a horrible evil in itself, and may well be what ends the world, but it uses so many resources that it also prevents people finding solutions to many of the other things mentioned.

Poverty, and disease in general, might also come pretty high.
