Which isn't good because my hometown is probably going to flood, which is sending my mother into a tizzy.

I wish we had--I left Portland and Memorial at 5, and it was really awful. If the rain keeps up this way, Hefner Parkway will flood from the drainage ditches on the side.

It was raining so hard I couldn't see what the lake looked like. Hopefully this rain will fill it up some--it really has been looking bad lately.

But, no, I left just a little after four. I stayed late actually because our lunch took too long.
Anyway, you drive safely. And take a couple of side roads. It won't hurt you to be a little late getting home if it means you're alive. LHP scares the shit out of me. I don't drive on the free way unless I just have to.
