How much crow do you eat? How much abuse do you take? Do you take it personal, or do you write if off as part of the job? Do you try to be nice, or do you fuck with their heads?

I can't be nice , that way they will get over on me. Its basically I will never kiss your ass, you will kiss my ass. Point blank. I heard the biggest BS last night that I wanted to get a roll of toilet paper and just throw it at the source. I am not stupid and I hate it when people think that since I am grouped with a majority who are stupid that I am stupid too - nope I am not. I know BS when I see it. And forget the age thing , I might be 26 but I am not 6 - I know what I know because I took the iniative to learn it because I have GOALS GOOOOOOOOOOOALLLS damnit !I know a lot and nobody taught me anything. Don't treat us like shit because we can all leave and you will be left with the mess.

And we have great vice presidents , forget HR , I take it to the top. Human Resources is nothing but nod your head, write down notes. I like action damn it.

Edit : I am just waiting for the "you don't have a degree" as if I can't get one. Bitch I went to college for one year and left because I was burned out from HS and instead I moved to Germany and I went back to school while there - I could teach English to German school kids but I choose to take this shit instead to be back with my family so fuck you and your decisions. I am going back to school to get my Business degree this summer hell yeah! so everyone at my job can kiss my ass ...

Can't you tell my employer has been pissing me off lately ? I don't even get mad anymore,I just howl in laughter - I bound for a drug test. Idiots.

2. I don't know the answer to the question
But I do know it sounds like you've been stressed to the max at work lately. And that's no good. If it's possible, maybe it's time to look for something else.

3. Depends
Here in Canada we have very strict labour laws that govern all work places. If you can prove verbal harassment or any sort of maltreatment, your tormentor is toast. Heh.......I had a charge brought against me ten years ago for calling a co-worker a bitch. I got off easy though. Two week suspension and a letter of apology. They could have fired my ass if they wanted to, but that sort of thing is bad optics for the diplomatic corps.

5. Ha.
Everybody's crazy at the hospital. Other codependents pale in comparison.
And don't get me started about taking shit - unless you want me to talk about LITERAL shit.

I suppose you aren't supposed to put up with all that in a sane job. American healthcare is not in that category....

I'm sorry you're having to deal with so much BS lately.

6. I work for one person.
She has several of us who handle different jobs, but need to coordinate with one another. She tells each of us a different story about the same project. She dwindled down my hours because I was "bad" in her eyes, meaning I told her the truth about a few things.

She sues people for any reason whatsoever, and takes money out of your paycheck for missing objects that you KNOW are mixed in with the mess of her life. My feeling is, if I quit, I'll get either sued or get a bill for her car that she forgot she parked at Target.

I hate it when someone tries to make you feel bad about yourself. If she ever met the real me, she'd be whimpering and begging for her life. I so don't want to go that route.

20. Making you feel inferior is a sneaky trick of unhappy people.

She can only sue if she's got some sort of grounds. I've dealt with people like that by having my lawyer send them a letter telling them they're full of crap and to crawl back in their holes.

21. A buddy keeps a "Pearl Harbor File"
It now takes up an entire drawer of his filing cabinet. He keeps copies at home, too, just in case (he's seriously ADD/OCD, which is probably the main reason he keeps the copies).

In the file are copies of EVERYTHING, ANYONE has EVER done wrong at his workplace. Sexual harassment, bent laws, broken rules, embarrassing gossip, possible humiliations. He's got it all. And he's not afraid to show a smidgen of it, tell them he's got more, and get what he wants.

And all he wants is to be left alone so he can do his job in the best way he knows how, and he's good at what he does. He's never used it for personal gain. He just uses it so idiots don't FUCK with him constantly. He's a great man, and I envy him.

28. In college, he slept 90 minutes a night
In high school, an hour. In middle school, an hour every day or three.

Now that we're in our 30s and with kids, I've noticed him mellowing out. He's up to 180 minutes a day. That's 2.5 hours a night, and a 30 minute nap after work. And his work is exemplary.

Maybe, occasionally, a mental illness can be a blessing.
