Stevie Nicks FANS!
This new CD/DVD is a MUST. It's not just a "best of" CD. There are many tracks that are fantastic live versions of Stevie songs. "Landslide" w/ the Melbourne Symphony is worth the price of the CD alone.

The DVD has all of Stevie's videos with bonuses.

The original "Stand Back" video. It was "Gone w/ the Wind" theme and you HAVE to watch it with Stevie's comments turned on. She rips the video apart. She HATES it.

Also she on TOUR this summer!

And yes I'm going!

Talk to me!

I'm suprised that the Greek here in LA hasn't been changed to Del Taco's Greek Theater.

9. Wait until you hear "Edge of Seventeen" Live.
The CD opens with the studio version and closed with a live track w/ the Melbourne Symphony.

The famous guitar riff opens the track, but is replaced with strings. It's unbelievable.

Lindsey and Stevie own the masters of it and have kept it in the vault for years.

Several European bootlegs are out there- try ebay or google.

We decided last night (my best friend, in a long Stevie discussion) that this set is really best for a Stevie newbie who might not already have all the things on it.. but then we have to get it anyway!

15. I think her voice is better NOW.
She went through a period (during the BAD drug days) when she was losing her voice.

She got healthy and really worked on her voice with coaches over the years. Her range is lower than the "Rummors" days, but she's singing "correctly" now and I think she has more power.

I've seen her live starting in 1979 and there were concerts when I was :wtf: ??

Prior to 2001, I had not seen her solo since 1983 (with one Fleetwood Mac show in 1987) and I was FLOORED as to how fantasic her voice sounded.

I saw her on the last tour 2005 as well. This is SO cool that she's touring often.

She has a fantastic band.

But she'll always tour with Fleetwood Mac when asked.

31. if you'd like to create some "new" stevie nicks material- here's a tip...
but it requires a turntable and vinyl lp's.

if you play atlanta rhythm section 33's at 45rpm- it sounds A LOT like stevie nicks.

At the Knitting Factory in NYC. It's every May.
My mom & my aunt went- they LOVED it!!
Said it was so so fun.

When they got out of the cab my aunt yelled "look, we found our tribe!"
