3. Have you been able to find out what it's all about?
If so, it might give you an idea about who's running this scam, and you can direct your comments to them. Have you tried the reverse phone directory? Or just plain googling the number they tell you to call?
I was getting them for a while and it really annoyed me - okay, so it's not a sales or solicitation call, why not tell me what the fuck it is and maybe I'll get back to you?
I don't return calls to people who leave cryptic messages. I just turn down the volume on the machine.
I get them occasionally for the man who had this number before me. They quit calling when I tell them them it's no longer his number. Except the one collector who didn't believe me. :eyes:
