My wife is leaving me
My wife and some of her 45ish something girlfriends are heading to the Florida Beach for Spring Break. I'll be a bachelor for three nights. Just what the hell am I going to do?

and the hamper will be empty, bed made, bathroom cleaned, kitchen immaculate. I don't make much of a mess in the house. Our garage doubles as my furnished dog house for me so that's where I concentrate my messes.

32. poor baby!!...lol
i was just in europe with my best friend for almost a month...get over it!!

do something for yourself!!

visit a friend you haven't seen...

read a book all night that you have been promising yourself you would read..

write a letter you have put off to someone you love and have not taken the time to tell them..

clean your closet out...or better yet..

clean the garage!!

as a life long flight attendant my husband and child were used to me being gone..and it made them appreciate me more when i was home..

write a letter to your wife for when she returns and tell her why and how much you love her!!

my favorite gifts from my husband and son cost nothing but theirtime and consideration..and their notes of how much they missed me and appreciated when i was gone!!

i believe every person should do what they want..and what pleases each of us ..together and apart..we are not defined by another..

from a fly gal...fly

34. Damn! You scared me BOSS! I gasped...then I read the rest of your post!
Have big fun, post on DU, relax, maybe work in the garden or go to the nursery for new plants, have a beer, go down to the French Quarter to your favorite restaurant for a po boy and another beer, sleep in and make sure the house is tidy when Mrs. BOSSHOG returns! You'll be glad to see her by then! I suggest that you have flowers, dinner ready and fresh linens on the bed with a chocolate on her pillow for her when she returns!

Have a great weekend! :hi:

43. Hello Dear
I think I'll touch all the bases on your post. (Specially the beer stuff.)

Our pollen blizzard is just about behind us, but it was hellacious for awhile. My black truck hasn't been washed in a month. It used to be black. Our Azaleas are looking real pretty now. I'm leaning towards vegetables and Herbs this year. I'm gonna use Okra where I usually put Hibiscus and will have lots of herbs. We are fixing to have an incredible rebloom of Mums we bought back in the fall. They are doing great. I also got some Heirloom tomato seeds. We are also getting a little wacky and will use red mulch in a small area of the back yard to see if we like it. Put it around a Pine Tree in the backyard with a couple of plants and some gnomes. You take care.
