Poll question: Do you carry a knife?
Do you routinely carry a pocketknife or penknife?

2. define "routinely"
lol. I don't bring it to work, but I have one I often carry. It's the boyscout in me. Hell, used to carry a lighter for years even when I did not smoke.

5. Used to, but
I got tired of my pockets wearing out. And it was just another thing to haul around.

I've got some nice knives, but don't feel the need anymore.

If I was going to carry anything like that it would be a corkscrew as one always has to be prepared to open the occasional bottle of wine.

7. Small Buck knife ("Minibuck") with one blade at work.
They won't let us bring Swiss knives in, but they don't seem to mind small knives (7.3 cm closed plus a 4.8 cm blade)like these:

You two can arm yourself with one for $15 (worth every penny): http://www.buckknives.com/catalog/detail/198/237. It's light as a feather, I used it for anything from cutting fruit to opening boxes and whatever in between.

Outside of work, I carry a Victorinox Cybertool 34. I'd take a pay cut to be allowed to use this at work: http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/review/victorinox_cybertool_34_review

8. Single blade, 2 inch Gerber
in the watch pocket of my jeans. It's very slim, otherwise I wouldn't carry it.

The other is a 2" blade knife.

11. I'm Swiss, of course I carry one.
This one with a lockable blade - most 'Swiss Army Knives' don't have the lock:

12. Always.
Zip-tie waved plain edge Spyderco Endura, and a zip-tie waved serrated edge Spyderco Jester. When I'm 21 I'll get a CCW permit and a Glock, maybe a G19.

14. Swiss Army Knife
I've got about 6. One i actually bought in Switzerland!

I carry one of the mid-sized versions. Two blades, scissors, can opener/screwdriver, a little tiny saw, braiding loop, awl, and a cork screw. I don't have the one with the mag glass, the spoon, and all that. Too big for the pocket.

15. A little multi tool thingie
That has a blade, screw driver, and finger nail file. I got it from someone long gone, (deceased) so it's more of a remembrance than anything else. It makes a good fingernail cleaner, and box opener.
