GET ME THE HELL OUT OF THIS HOUSE!!!
I can't stand it one second longer. As I type I am listening to another German opera and I can't take it ANY MORE. We had a house showing on Saturday and I haven't heard anything, naturally. Am I doomed to live with this man in this tainted place until I shrivel up and die? What life lesson can I POSSIBLY be learing being stuck with the man I'm divorcing for a year after we decide to part? I still can't invite friends over or go out more than once a week. I must sit here in silence and listen to the same music I've listened to for the last seventeen years. Nothing EVER CHANGES!!! And I want to know why the fuck not !!!!! I'm going to go crazy, AGAIN!

AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Hm....
Why can't you move out? Failing that, why can't you at least go out more than once a week? Sorry, I'm not caught up on your situation, just wondering what is going on. :hi:

and we're selling our house so we can afford to separate. If I go out more than once a week I am treated like dogshit so I don't. Three kids are involved and it's not worth stressing them out. On edit: my family lives on the other coast so there's no easy escape here. :hi:

Personally, I prefer my kids in their teens to the little ones. They have a better sense of humor and they bathe daily. :hi:

Yes, by July I should be job-hunting. It won't put me in a place where I can move out with the kids, however, and they have made it very clear that I'm not to leave them here with Dad. OTOH, having a job would be a distraction, and a step in the right direction. You're right.

you can get yourself situated while they are gone...

i do not know how dedicated your children are about wanting upheaval in their lives but summer is a good time to relocate and get them in new schools for next year...

just throwing ideas out here:shrug:

at this time in your life...you may have to lean of family members for help until you can get the house sold...

perhaps i can help you think this through. i know it is not easy but, if you are truly miserable then it is time to start thinking outside the box

42. Oh Crimmy, it's crappy!
This is your life lesson in patience...and that's the suckiest one of all! I've never quite mastered it! In fact, at 46, I feel like I'm still in remedial school and stuck on this one lesson...never to advance to wisdom and all those other characteristics needed to mature gracefully. Ahhh, fuck it, some of us are just destined to die as overgrown children!

I feel your pain...waiting is so hard, particularly when you're ready to go! I've waited for the right guy to call, the right job offer. And we had to sell a house in a bad neighborhood that was getting worse all the time (gunshots heard regularly, I was carjacked with a gun @ my forehead). However, eventually that pinpoint of light appears...I know you'll get through this because you're so much loved here...we're all throwing our good karma your way!

PM me for more support! I'm here for ya!

You described the claustrophobia so well, I can feel it myself.

OK, as an ex-Realtor, I'm going to give you some unsolicited advice that you are free to completely ignore. Any house can be sold at the right price. If you really want to have your house sold, so you can get on with your life, lower the price. Especially if you have enough equity that you won't end up selling at a loss. My experience is that there is a risk in waiting to get your price, that is, the property can become "shopworn." Potential buyers start asking, "What's wrong with it?" Also, a small reduction in price will bring a new set of qualified buyers.

Of course, I don't know anything about your home, neighborhood or city. But, this is pretty standard procedure.

Would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon
We could float among the stars together, you and I
For we can fly we can fly

My beautiful, my beautiful balloon
The world's a nicer place in my beautiful balloon
It wears a nicer face in my beautiful balloon
We can sing a song and sail along the silver sky
For we can fly we can fly
Up, up and away
My beautiful, my beautiful balloon
Suspended under a twilight canopy
We'll search the clouds for a star to guide us
If by some chance you find yourself loving me
We'll find a cloud to hide us
We'll keep the moon beside us
Love is waiting there in my beautiful balloon
Way up in the air in my beautiful balloon
If you'll hold my hand we'll chase your dream across the sky
For we can fly we can fly
Up, up and away
My beautiful, my beautiful balloon

My wife walked out over a year ago and she has not talked to me since. I saw my sister and law the other day and she was suprised when she found out that we are still married and she hasn't filed for divorce. Of course me being the big pussy that I am, I won't do anything about it because I am still in love with the woman and I want her back.
