Yes, those are anime action figures. I couldn't find a 'reluctant bride,' so we went with these.

It's not my design - the baker who made our cake does such fantastic work we just let her do whatever she thought would look good, since she has more experience designing cakes than us by about a 1000%.

4. Our Wedding = GeekFest 2007

All the guests were either software engineers or some other high-level geek; these photo was taken by one of my friends who is a big-time anime fan. There'll be cake pix on an anime fansite within a day or so.

I thought the flowers looked pretty great - obviously, I wasn't trying to match them to anything; I just wanted them to be colorful and springlike.

What flavor is it?

Haruka and I really want a ginger cake with Irish whisky (Jamesons of course!) buttercream icing and "embossed" Celtic designs. Our wedding cake person said they could do that. WE would like a Celtic-themed topper like this one:
