Why does my TV do this?
My TV, a 20 inch LXI I got as Sears a few years ago, will just quit working all of a sudden, every few months. I try everything, hit "TV" on the remote, etc. It just refuses to turn on. I'm learned, though, that if I unplug it overnight, it'll work again in the morning.

Anyone have a clue why this happens? I find it puzzling.

1. Did you ever see the movie "The Ring?"
Or it could be something like a bad capacitor. You need to weigh the cost of having it repaired vs buying a new set. Remember that everything is going to be going to digital in 2 years. Your old set would work with the proper converter, but it might be time to buy new and be ready.

6. It's getting old. I'm thinking it's probably on its last legs.
I have another, new one I bought with Christmas bonus money, that's in my living room. This one is in my bedroom, but it's the one I watch Keith on, before going to bed. So, it's important!!

Still, I'll probably replace it before the digital thing.

7. Tell me about it.
Hey, I'm still waiting for the prices to drop before I go digital. I have digital converters on 2 of my sets. The TV in my bedroom is one I bought in 1988, and it's still working just fine. RCA did good that year. :)
