Robert Plant is a golden God. You should check them out if you've never heard them :)

5. Some might say that Gregg Allman is a 'Golden God'

Anyhow Robert Plant was this morning when I was a kick of his solo work - right before I switched to Vanilla Fudge

Because I am! In fact, this very thing is what prompted me to respond to your drinking game thread - college memories!

9. It really sucks - no one rights songs about 'Lynne'
Maybe if I send a letter to Robert Plant he'll write a song about a girl named Lynne

15. There is absolutely nothing wrong with starting your children out right when it comes to music
Raffi is clearly not that "right" that we're talking about.

I found that Queen, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen can be some good starter groups for your young child although my friend confesses that she had strong success with The Doors and Jimi Hendrix.

19. Don't knock Raffi, he's a peaceful and goodhearted guy
All my kids enjoy a highly diverse and balanced aural diet......

Dan Zanes is my preference for Kiddie tunesmiths, but Raffi is like Kiddie Valium, and the Baby needed some relaxin'

You should hear my son sing "After the Gold Rush" - he likes Springsteen, Ray Charles, Bob Marley, Phish, The Ramones, and can tell you who sings lead on nearly every Beatles song. He prefers Beethoven to Mozart, we go to the symphony every six weeks or so. He really likes the Dave Brubeck Quartet, I think he likes Paul Desmond's sax....

My six year old daughter prefers the Indigo Girls and Show Tunes. She gets very squirmy at Classical Concerts.....

16. I prefer the Dickey Betts numbers.
If anyone cares.

The "dracula organ" in some of those longer Greg songs is a bit much sometimes.

Even still, a very fun live act- seen 'em a couple of times.
