 Sheba is really a nice kitty. Even thought the others don't play with her as much or cuddle her, it's clear that they like her. I'll never understand how someone could let her go.

My other kitties don't groom each other. The original four get along -- two of them are mother and son -- but I've never seen them all curled up in a heap. When Sabrina tries to wash Satchmo's face, he pulls away just like Simba in Lion King. You can just about hear him saying, "Moooooom!"

When do we get to see pictures of your rabbits? :bounce:

:hi: :loveya:

Sylvester is SO happy! He's wanted someone to play with and love for so long, but the geriatric kitties in the house don't want to be chased around and cuddled by a young upstart. So Sheba was a perfect addition. Now we have the geriatric ward and the pediatric ward ... and they sort of stick with their own groups!

There's that cute smiley! :bounce:

42. When our Axl was young
Edited on Wed Mar-21-07 08:45 AM by ginbarn
we brought in a straggly stray about a year old. Axie fell in love instantly, but Bonnie is pretty standoffish. Any time Axl has to go to the vet, Bonnie growls and hisses at him and he gets the most devastated look on his face. However, when she has to go, he won't leave her side. He totally takes care of her.

Axie will put his head down begging her to lick it - sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't. I kept them separated at first because I didn't know how Axie would respond, and I was shocked by how ga ga he was over her.

A couple of days after they met:

On edit:
Big ol' Bonnie now:

Will her points darken any more, or is that the color they will stay? It's been years since I've had a siamese cat, seal points, and I can't remember how old they were when their points were fully set in.

She's young (about a year), so her points will probably darken a little. From the pics I've seen on the internet, though, she looks about the right color ... if a computer picture tells you anything.

I had a blue point for 19 years, but I think it was mostly the rest of him that got darker with age. Just can't remember either.
