I discovered NEU! recently.

For those unfamiliar, they were a German band in active in the 70's that put out very minimalistic rock. A couple members were formerly of Kraftwerk.
Now I know who Wilco was ripping off when they recorded "A Ghost is Born."

If you dig that kind of stuff, there's a very NEU!-like band from Sweden called Audionom whom you should check out. :thumbsup:
