The art-politics pretensions of the post-punkers was no less ridiculous than the hippy dippy shit of the prog rockers.

So bottom line, I like good music that is creative and different and frankly, if I could play it myself, I'm not going to pay for it and it is a rare phenomenom indeed when ANY 20 or 30 something with a guitar and a record deal could tell me anything I didn't already know :)
