3. My grandmother's parents were Finnish
and my mother and grandmother speak Finnish when they're together. However I've never heard of St. Uhro's day. :(

5. Maybe its just a UP thing?
My dad was a Finn from UP Michigan, and it was a big thing up there. Lots of Finns in that area.

6. My mom's family ended up in Port Arthur, Ontario.
It was full of Ukranians & not so many Finns. All of them were related to my mother!

I can't think of any Finnish holiday we celebrated, so my ignorance means nothing.
