11. I watched and was entranced...

nothing like what I expected. Who says TV is a vast wasteland?

The writing was incredible, and the direction, editing, performances, and all the other stuff was just perfect.

I expected Driver and Izzard to be great, but I didn't expect everyone else to keep up with them.

I'm not sure I'm going to stay with it for long, because I'm not really that sympathetic with any of the characters to care for more than a couple of hours, but I do hope enough people are to keep it going.

And that the writers haven't blown their wad with the pilot.

12. Completely, totally hooked...

Of course, I already thought of Eddie Izzard as one of the Entertainment Gods, and Minnie Driver has always been one of my favorites too.

But Eddie just knocked my socks off. He was AWESOME. I can't wait til next week's episode. In fact, I'm going to check and see if this episode is rerunning anytime so I can watch it again. Well written, great acting, ORIGINAL. Wow.

I don't watch much TV but I am a big fan of Eddie Izzard. I had no idea he had a new show.

Is "FX" a cable channel?

Is it in anyway related to FOX?

and yes, its owned by Fox.

They also produce "the Shield" and "Nip/Tuck", both of which are pretty good shows.

17. I watched the first 20 minutes

but the baby was up and that wasn't appropriate at all so I am TiVoing it on Thursday in the AM.

ALL TV shows should be repeated somewhere in the middle of the night for recording purposes.

21. Mr ld and I watched the DVR recording of it last night

and we are both hooked- It has a great story line, and writing. Not to mention the performances by Izzard and Driver. Even their kids were good. I only hope the writing is able to keep pace with the quality delivered in this pilot
