So, how long does it take to become a vet?

At this point, I think school would be less expensive and maybe take less time than trying to pay for two bad kitty mouths.

4. It depends ur history....im hopefully on that track now

You need a bunch of "pre-med" type classes, Bio, Chem, Organic, Physics, Anatomy, Calc, BioChem, and even a few more (about 2-3 years for me, im in my second semester of probably 6)...vet school takes 4 years, then u can do internships to specialize after.

Then, it can be sort of fun. But -- like most courses -- so much depends on the prof.

I lucked out and found a really good one. He took me from remedial math to Trig. :wow:

10. last semester I took pre-calc with an english speaker, and he was AWFUL

but this semester, I have an eastern european, and he just a little better...not much, but a drop. but we'll see if that lasts after my first test.

but she does it all: the surgeries, husbandry, on-site mobile, pharmacology, etc :hi:

15. I may just be crazy enough to go for it.

Omg. Two of my cats need mouth surgery. It will be right around 2K and meanwhile, I'm struggling to get them to eat and stay hydrated. I haven't been to a dentist myself since God was in little league.

I'm calling Antonia my catlady tonight. Time to take out the stops. :(

hope your kitties come round though there are those times when they'll need a professional, our friend may have had a weeee bit of a head start if only in that her folks operate a farm/ranch down below Santa Cruz...

19. Thank you, I feel the same way right now.

Tomorrow I'll call the money lady at the clinic and see if they will finance it. They're great and may do that. But tonight, my head is exploding a little.
