I played with the case for a while at the store tonight, but the layout (power supply on bottom so the system board is closest to the output fans) combined with a bezel that channels heat from the peripheral PCI cards outside the unit was a real selling point. It's also padded to keep noise levels down. And it feels sturdily built too.

The extra drive bays make it ideal for a server, if I wished to refit my PC as such one day...

But the cooling was the biggest selling point.

I'll be putting it together tomorrow...

It has a dual AT/ATX power supply still thrashing.

6. Literally, cooler.

It's just as loud despite having THREE extra fans installed... but not any louder...

But I noted the temperature gauge down by 7 degrees Centigrade. :wow: (34 degrees idle, 40 degrees full load (Unreal Tournament 2004) in a 25 degrees C. ambient environment.)

The layout is one I'd have expected to have seen on most PCs in general...

And it's Antec, a good brand...


And my video card idle temp dropped from 52 down to 45 deg C as well.

3 years old, nice 'n roomy and cool with 5 fans, as well as built in fans on the cpu and the video card.
