If you ever get a chance to see Damien Rice in concert - GO. He kicks the butt of any of these mainstrem sensitive English/Irish balladeers you hear on the radio. Way awesome quality that will just move you

This is the next concert I have tickets for:

And I have tickets for these guys too:

30. It was a fantastic show, Anderson's music really lends itself well to orchestral arrangements.
He also had some very talented musicians playing with him especially Lucia Micarelli:

Here they are doing a cover of Kashmir by Led Zeppelin.

and here's a link to her web site:

Last July at Soldier Field.

Not sure who will be next.

Probably Bon Jovi when they come back to Chicago. I'd still like to see Pearl Jam too.

20. Yes, it seems like all the Bon Jovi fans really loathe her.
I don't really care for her much either, but I really hope she doesn't come between Jon and Richie. I've read Jon doesn't care much for her either, as she brings too much media attention with her. If you know anything about Jon, he is really private. I'd hate to see the band break up because of her. Hopefully, it will not come to that.

Richie still looks hot when he puts on the cowboy hat when they play Dead or Alive.

may not know them, but if you even remotely like metal you should listen.

she plays lead. the amps are taller than her.

the singer gives it his all, and the drummer goes ballistic on the gong -- an integral part of his drum set.

saw them twice already and loved every minute. music to rage against the universe, then collapse and watch a galaxy die. cheerful.

28. I have been to so few concerts
that I can list them all

Survivor/REO Speedwagon
Kathy Trocolli/Michael W. Smith
Kim Mitchell/Bryan Adams
Bachman Turner Overdrive/Van Hagar

Then I remembered a few more - the local country music fest I got free tickets to a couple of times. The only one I cared about was Confederate Railroad, but there were a few others - a Canadian girl who had a minor hit, a Georgia guy who sang "I brake for brunettes", and another group whose big hit was "Too much fun". That one was not fun, because just as they were about to do their big hit, a huge thunderstorm hit and blew the stage over, just about killed Aaron Tippin.

Survivor (again, ten years later at Clear Lake, Iowa)
Michael W. Smith (again, twenty years later, the ticket included a professional soccer game)

I love music and really should get to more live shows. I would love to see Damien Rice, Rufus Wainwright, Lucinda Williams. The Police reunion would be awesome -- but I'm sure the ticket prices are way out of reach for my budget. :hi:

:(
I've seen him 3 times and Pink Floyd 4 times. They're the only one's I would go out of my way to see.

I rarely see concerts anymore. This was my last one.
