2. Awww...I couldn't imagine someone giving up a disabled pet.

I mean, Cheyenne was crazy, then blind and she was an awesome dog. In fact, once she went blind, she became way less aggressive. She got around great, too. She memorized the layout of everything and her hearing and smell were still perfect.

I want to adopt them all!

and we made a nylon sling so she could pull herself along without getting rugburn. And even though she only had use of her two front legs, she was still one determined ferret - she could still climb the curtains and beat the snot out of the other ferrets. She was four when she was paralyzed, and she lived for three more years as a VERY handi-capable ferret.

3. Another reason to win the lottery. Would be wonderful to devote oneself to that.
I love this pic of (blind) Cinder and her babies, Ash and Spark.

What a wonderful thing for them to do.

9. That's exactly what I told my kid the other day when he called me
to tell me tho buy a mega-million lottery ticket.

I told him if I win, almost everything is going to help homeless dogs.
