1. Numb...emotionally?
I know that feeling.
Hard to tell if it's worse than feeling down.
Sometimes I wish I felt nothing at all...but I guess in the end I'd regret wanting to feel that way...

7. Yep, sometimes I do. And sometimes, I think it can be a good thing.
I wouldn't want to go through my whole life feeling that way, but sometimes, especially if there is a lot going on, it can be a way to recharge yourself, sort of a mini-vacation.

8. Yes, many times I have felt numb (and not by chemical means either)
I think it is just your body's way of handling overload. Too many emotions and I think the body just shuts 'em all down, until the body feels recharged.

24. Yes
I used to get so depressed, that I would feel uncomfortable once I started feeling any other way. I would panic. And as soon as I got back to being horribly depressed, I would feel a sort of fucked up peace that is hard to describe.

I think I was addicted to the pain.

30. When bad things happen I numb out
Three days later I am suddenly pissed off. It's the way I have always been, I have very delayed reactions to stuff. But I just have to say, and allow me, that Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

It's over!!!!!!!!!!!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

This stank-ass mercury retrograde is over as of last night and it done took it's skank and scum and scuzz and hit the road I am THRILLED. I have gotten so much done since midnight last night it's not even funny and I actually didn't even remember about it til 3:00 a.m. So I'm not numb right now, I am on top of the world, literally. I got even more done today (case in point, I just washed the floor moldings, lol) and expect to get even more done this weekend, AND I finally ordered that new TPS (sensor) for my car this afternoon. I'm a happy, happy person.

38. yes, I feel pretty normal
first day in a week that I've been able to do physical stuff without feeling like I was gonna pass out. I barely made it through work this past weekend, as it stands I had to skip one building and do it on Monday and even then I barely got through it. It was bed city for me after that until today. I'm not manic (I've been waiting 15 years for that manic phase to hit, lol) but I knew that when I stopped feeling so shitty feeling normal would feel great. And it does. I'm still coughing like a banshee but it feels like such a miracle to be able to get up and do all kinds of chores. I also washed my car today and took off about 3 months worth of recycling.

Mercury retrograde happens three times a year and it's when Mercury appears from the earth to move backward because of where it is in it's orbit and if you are a Virgo it's a double whammy because Mercury is our ruling planet. It lasted from 2/14 to 3/7 this time and I felt this one especially hard but knowing it was going on helped me to detach emotionally from a lot of the drama needless to say. It's supposed to be a time of 'non-reaction' when you know things are gonna be effed up no matter what so you need to detach and not invest in them, just like of let people be assholes and let their assholishness go *around* you, instead of penetrating you. It's a great meditation, I learned that from someone in al-anon.

here is more info...I don't know if you are into astrology or not but mercury retrograde is a big deal if you are a virgo. Even though they generally suck pretty hard for a lot of people.

42. it explains february for me but not january
or December...or from August of last summer onward. That was just my own stupidity and blindness.

here is a link you can enter some of your info in and it will give you a little chart and tell you about your rising sign and planets.

http://www.alabe.com/freechart/

You have to know your time of birth. I've done it and it's really cool. I did my planets one time (where you look at the periods of your life according to the orbits of Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, etc) and I was amazed at how significant things happened at those junctures. It really made me feel a lot better about my life. Of course that isn't at that link, you'd have to pay to get that whole chart done, which I'm thinking about doing. but I like the little info they do give, alot of it was accurate for me.

47. these parts for me changed my life, lol
Rising Sign is in 03 Degrees Pisces
Very sensitive to your surroundings, other people's feelings become your feelings. Try to avoid negative people because your tendency to empathize with them will make you negative also. An idealist, you must believe in something beyond your normal everyday existence. A dreamer, you like to escape to a world of your own creation. As such, you are known for the vividness of your imagination and should try to share your inner visions with others. Very self-sacrificial by nature, beware of others becoming overly dependent on you or vice versa. Allow yourself to live for yourself once in a while -- you deserve it. Don't be so envious of those who are more aggressive than you -- your gentle charity and true humility are indeed wonderful gifts. on the tenth house cusp (MIDHEAVEN).

Sun is in 03 Degrees Virgo.
Extremely careful and cautious by nature, you value neatness and order above all else. You rigorously practice very high standards of living and conduct and you demand the same of everyone with whom you come into contact. At times, you are so supercritical that you are merely nit-picky. You are very good at practical skills and quite handy with tools of all kinds. You are also greatly concerned with hygiene, cleanliness and personal health problems. Very likely your health is much better than you think it is -- don't worry so much! Extremely methodical and analytical, you are a perfectionist -- this makes you the perfect person to carry out highly detailed, precise operations. But, at times, you pay so much attention to details that you lose sight of the larger issues.

Moon is in 11 Degrees Libra.
Affectionate, warm and friendly, life must be a "beautiful" experience for you. Unpleasantness should be avoided at all costs. You tend to overlook other people's faults and you would rather give in than fight. You are uncomfortable with strangers, but at ease and sociable with friends and associates. Indeed, you would rather socialize than work -- you can use your prodigious charm to avoid unpleasant tasks. You need the support and assistance of another in order to get you started on any new project -- you are not a self-starter. Be careful of a tendency to be overly self-indulgent (i.e., lazy). Your refined aesthetic sensibilities attract you to music, dance, art and any other cultured activity.

45. I don't mind these kinds of moods
The word that comes to me is 'content'. I am a person with a great deal of anxiety. I'm always worrying about my jobs, my kids, or my husband. I welcome that numb feeling -- when all the worry evaporates into contentment. I wish I could be numb more often. I'm kind of numb right now. It might be a Friday thing. I'd be number if my daughter wasn't on her way to Florida for spring break, :scared: but I guess I'm actually handling that quite well.

58. Yes, and numb is a bad way to be when you are making life-
altering decisions. Numb disappears and leaves you screaming in pain, also not a good way to be when making decisions. In time there will be a sort of healing and you will be yourself again - different, but yourself. Then you will know what you must do and how to go about it.
