Anyone here have rosacea?
I've got some red spider veins on my face that I'm thinking about having removed. Wondering if anyone has any experience with that and if so were the results worth the hassle?

1. Roscea and red veins aren't necessarily the same thing
The veins can be taken care of but the roscea is chronic and it flares and goes away. What does your derm? say?

3. Derm says I've got rosacea
I don't have flares as often as I did when I was in my early 30s (knock on wood) but the red capillaries still remain. I talked with my dermatologist about having them ablated with saline injections. It seems like a simple enough procedure but I'd like to hear some personal experiences. My dermatologist is a fine doctor but not good at talking about things other than in a technical sense so I can't really get a feel from her how well it would turn out. You know what I mean?

4. seems a bit extreme, there's a generic version of metrocream out on the market now
that's pretty cheap, helps keep things in control

2. I get the little red veins on my face zapped and they go away. You
should ask your dermatologist. I have mild rosacea, that can be reduced by creams. No big deal. There are a lot of mild cures for it.
