What *not* to do with a $1.4 Million car....
BBC: "Rare Bugatti crashes into trees

"A car worth more than £800,000 was involved in a collision with a van before crashing into trees.

The accident occurred in heavy rain on a 40mph section of Renfree Way, Shepperton, Surrey, on Sunday.

The rare Bugatti Veyron collided with a Vauxhall Astra van carrying a pregnant woman, who was taken to hospital as a precaution but later went home. "

1. Buying a million dollar car doesn't mean you know how to drive it
I think it has 1000 horsepower.

7. (sigh) Your opinion, some (most) people just don't think the way we do
If I had won the Lottery today after taking care of those who needed it the most, I'd buy one expensive hot rod, you bet.

But it surely would not be one of those, attracts way too much attention.

I'll order up a new buggy whip for you when I get a chance.:sarcasm:

9. I think it's nonsensical to spend that kind of money on a car.
But that's just me. People with way too damned much money may feel differently.

To each his own, different strokes for different folks, etc, etc, blah blah.

6. It was a rental.
I posted this yesterday
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007100574,00.html
Outside their home yesterday a man claimed he had rented it to the driver for £20,000 a day and that it was bought for £925,000 — more than the list price. Nick Lancaster, Chief Executive of dealers HR Owen which sold the motor, said: “It is the first Veyron I have heard of being damaged. We cannot say yet whether it is written off or not.”
