I prefer the 25 pin variety, myself... They commonly do come in 9, 15, and 25 pin varieties...

1. USB... Definitely.
ESPECIALLY USB 2.0...

I'm still waiting for files I started with 1.1 to finish transferring. :o

10. since you brought it up, how do you determine if a PC has 1.1 or 2.0
I got a custom PC someone gave to me and Im not sure which USB it has.

A *serious* question in the LOUNGE! :rofl:

Anyway, the way it's determined depends on the OS the machine is running...
or a REAL clue is if you're using an external USB drive and it takes FOREVER to
transfer files. The difference is non-trivial. A 4Gig file takes hours with 1.1
and only about an hour with 2.0.
