Harleydad's job will be ending soon. I'll spare you the long story. The short version is that he's been screwed by the company he was loyal to for over 10 years. No problems with his performance and he didn't steal the silverware. Just asshole management and politics.

We could use some mojo, vibes, thoughts, prayers, or whatever you can offer to help him find a good job ASAP.

Mr Gen up and quit a job he had for 17 years, 6 years ago. I was frantic with fear -- no unemployment, no health insurance. It took him about 8 weeks to find another job. Everything worked out fine, and all of my agonizing was for naught.
