Should dating services (internet & otherwise) screen applicants?

1. um.... some do.... but just think about what it does to costs....

thinking that either a free or even inexpensive service could do thorough screening of all registrants and still be in business is not realistic.

But I would question the validity of society as it stands.

Things like safety made trivial because it would hamper somebody's profits is wrong.

But I'm not against paying a fair due to get in to the service.

I met my last 3 (And only 3) boyfriends via the internet in some way. They all turned out ok. But there sure have been a ton of psycho "applicants" =)
