...in a pigs eye!
I was heading into downtown Dallas this morning from the west, on I30. Suddenly it turned into a parking lot. After creeping along for the length of time it took to get to the next off-ramp (about a half hour) I decided that since it was a beautiful morning and I had nothing better to do, I'd get off and go south of downtown and lose myself. (Losing yourself on unknown side streets is a great way to discover new cool places!)
I'll be dipped in doggy doo-doo if I didn't happen to accidentally drive DIRECTLY to the on-ramp that bypassed the gridlocked cloverleaf, and I was back at full speed and on my way in less than five minutes. If you live in Dallas, you know that the streets just south of downtown are... shall we say "bizarre". I couldn't go back and do what I did again if you paid me.
But it still felt good to "chance" myself onto the perfect path.
Now, if only the rest of my day would be so easy to get through...
